The Story

James Holloway hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he started training in the performing arts at the famed Freedom Theater. From there, he took off to New York, earning his B.F.A. from the acclaimed SUNY Purchase College, before getting accepted to and graduating from the Master's program for Classical Acting at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Before diving into the political arena as a Regional Organizing Director and leading Black Leadership Pennsylvania's Kamala For President campaign to knock on over 100,000 doors in Philly, James graced stages at Tony Award-winning theaters, appeared in critically acclaimed and award-winning independent projects and TV series, and garnered success with TV commercials and voice-overs.

James has continued to blend politics, the arts, and advocacy as the Senior National Field Trainer for major Face 2 Face street fundraising campaigns — raising over $1 million in funding with the offices he has led.

“CROWN marks his first music collaboration with producer extraordinaire, The Ovtli3r.”
